...editing, re-writing and more editing...

Time for an update that's not dedicated to the old "ghost train"...

Been editing a couple of older stories the last few days.  Editing, re-writing.  More editing, more re-writing.  It's a cyclical process.  Painful.  Monotonous.

Some of you may wonder why there are so many comments about music on these pages. 

Writing can be an arduous undertaking at times...  Music helps pass the time.

With that in mind, I took another look at the very first of my "New Mexico" stories.  Did some polishing, re-shaping.  Then did some more.

And while I was at it, this recent re-pressing of an old classic arrived in the mail:

 When it was originally released, the band didn't even offer a title, just four mystical symbols...

The rest, as they say... is history!

Anyway, I finished editing the "New Mexico" story and sent that sucker in to my all time favorite literary journal (more on that later).

It's time to get back to the ghosts and their train....
